If you’re a merchant selling in or shipping to the United States who uses tax inclusive pricing, Shopify Tax will now calculate rooftop accurate rates and product-specific taxes in states where you have activated tax collection. When a customer checks out, Shopify Tax will automatically verify that the right rate is being applied, and make adjustments based on your customer’s address and local rules related to the specific product they are purchasing.
