Shopify Payments now supports multiple payment captures for the same order

Merchants on the manual setting can now capture multiple partial payments for the same order.

This helps if you:
- Ship items in an order from different warehouses with different fulfillment times
- Your buyers expect to be charged for items when they’re fulfilled, not at checkout
- Your accounting team needs to meet IFRS standards

You can access this feature directly from the Orders Page or using the GraphQL API (OrderTransaction object and OrderCapture mutation).

Enabled by default for Plus merchants. Learn more by talking to your merchant success manager.
