What’s New at Shopify?

On June 24, 2025, we will modify postal code requirements for shipments to Romania at checkout.

Prior to this change, postal codes were optional. We will move the postal code field to required to align with the requirements of the Romanian Post.

Postcodes are required on both domestic and international orders regardless of shipping method selected.
