What’s New at Shopify?

Starting December 9, 2024, the way we refer to customer accounts is changing across all Shopify-owned surfaces.

• New customer accounts is now customer accounts
  
• Classic customer accounts is now legacy customer accounts

This change reflects Shopify’s commitment to the future of new customer accounts and although we have not yet announced a timeline, classic customer accounts will eventually be retired.
