What’s New at Shopify?

You can now set inventory aside as Unavailable at a specific location, preventing it from being sold. Unavailable inventory can be designated as Safety Stock, Quality Control, Damaged, or Other.

For example, set some inventory aside as Safety Stock to guard your store from overselling, or mark inventory as Damaged while it undergoes repairs.
