What’s New at Shopify?

In POS version 9.28 and Customer View version 1.32, you can customize the appearance of the Idle Screen on your customer-facing display by uploading your own logo and background image via the Display Editor in your Admin. This is a prime opportunity to showcase your brand and engage more effectively with your customers.

Tailor the look-and-feel even further by leveraging tools to scale the size of the logo and set the overlay opacity of your background image. Both the logo and background image support PNG and JPG files, with a recommended image size of 1080x1920 for the background image, specifically.

To get started, visit the Display Editor in Admin by selecting Point of Sale > Settings > Customer displays > Idle screen.
