What’s New at Shopify?

To better allow for storytelling on your online store, videos that are added to the Files page can now be larger than the 20 MB file limit.

Video file requirements:
* Video length: Maximum 10 minutes
* Video size: Maximum 1 GB (gigabytes)
* Video resolution: Maximum 4K (4096 x 2160 px)
* Video file type: MOV or MP4

Video edits available from Files page:
* Update video cover image
* Add alt text

File reference metafields can now also be defined to allow only videos or media (images and videos). With video hosted by Shopify, visitors to your site will get the optimal video based on their screen resolution and network bandwidth.
