What’s New at Shopify?

The new Files section UI has the following improvements:

• The old File column has been replaced by a new File name column that includes the file's name and extension.
• The old URL column has been replaced by a new Link column making it easier to copy URLs.
• A new Date added column indicating when the file was created has been added.
• New default thumbnails have been added and capture more file types than before.

The improved creation process includes:

• An Upload Banner that indicates that files are being uploaded with a progress bar.
• A Processing Banner that indicates that files are being processed. You don't have to stay on the page for the processing to finish. It happens in the background.
• An Error Banner to indicate any errors that occurred during the uploading and processing stages.
