What’s new in Shopify

We've made a series of improvements to help speed up the checkout flow with POS. Card payments process faster and there are fewer taps for cash, gift card, and split payments.

Receipt handling is faster too, with a pre-filled buyer receipt selection screen when Shopify recognizes the buyer, and email domain shortcuts to speed up manually entering a customer's email at the register.

Together these changes trim seconds off each sale and keep the line moving during peak hours.

These checkout enhancements are available in Shopify POS version 11.17.0 and later.
