What’s New at Shopify?

You can now apply and save all discounts that you create in the admin to draft orders in Shopify POS, including:
* Line item discounts
* Order discounts
* BXGY discounts
* Shipping discounts
* Discount Functions
* Discount combinations

Previously, draft orders in POS only supported custom (manual) discounts. With this update, you can now apply any discount that you create in the Shopify admin, making POS draft orders fully compatible with discounts to match the capabilities available for your online store. Whether your staff is taking phone orders, creating custom orders, or placing high-value items on hold, you can now save these discounts in draft orders for a more convenient checkout experience.

Note: You need the appropriate permissions to use discounts in draft orders. This feature is available with POS Pro.
