What’s New at Shopify?

Starting today, by default your shop.app storefront can be indexed by search engines like Google and Bing. This means customers searching for products like yours can discover your Shop storefront through organic search results, helping you reach new audiences and drive sales.

You can control this in your Shop channel settings.
